The Hot Tub Outlet named as Wigan Warriors’ supplier of wet leisure equipment.

Players at Wigan Warriors are benefitting from the restorative qualities of a new hot tub and ice bath in a purpose built therapy room, thanks to a local specialist company. The Hot Tub Outlet of Stephen’s Way in Wigan has been named as the official suppliers of wet leisure equipment at the current Rugby Football League champions, and recently supplied and installed a pair of hot tubs from their Spa Crest range of hand-built American spas.

The hot tubs in question are a pair of Spa Crest Knight S1 models with specially specified optional neck and shoulder jets. One of them functions as normally with warm water maintained at around 38°C, while the other has been specially modified to allow ice bath conditions, while still allowing the therapy jets to function as normal.

Rugby General Manager and former player at the Warriors, Kris Radlinski, is delighted with the new relationship with The Hot Tub Outlet, and with the benefits that their two new therapy pools will bring to the elite player conditioning regime at the club. He says “the specification and installation of the new tubs at the club is an important benefit in the conditioning of our players, particularly in the rehabilitation process following injury, with a view to speeding up the recovery period so that a player is out of action for a shorter time. One of the spas gives us all the benefits of hot water hydrotherapy: heat, buoyancy and massage, while the second one gives us the benefits of ice bathing.”

When asked why he chose The Hot Tub Outlet for the supply and installation of such important pieces of kit, Kris went on, “The Hot Tub Outlet are the longest established specialist supplier of hot tubs in the north west, and it really shows when you talk with Tony. He knows his stuff inside out, was absolutely instrumental in guiding us to the right product at the right budget, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The products themselves perform superbly and are perfect for our needs. The quality of them is excellent, as you would expect from such a high-profile and respected brand manufactured in the USA”.

Tony Welsby, The Hot Tub Outlet’s managing director, a local Wigan man, is needless to say, absolutely delighted with the association with the illustrious club he has followed his whole life.  “To supply hot tubs into situations where their tangible therapeutic benefits are really exploited to the full is very rewarding anyway. To be the official suppliers of wet leisure equipment to my local club, and absolute giants with such a glorious history in their sport is on another level entirely, I cannot begin to tell you how pleased we are to have been chosen by Wigan Warriors, and we look forward to many years taking care of their needs”.
